Disclaimer
The Independent Broadcast Awards have been established in response to a clear need for a dedicated, independent recognition of excellence within the UK news media and broadcast sector. UKLIVE is proud to facilitate and host this awards ceremony as a platform for the industry, but has no involvement whatsoever in the nomination, shortlisting, or judging process. All decisions regarding award recipients are made solely by an independent judging panel of media professionals, with UKLIVE playing no role in the evaluation or selection of winners. This ensures the awards remain impartial, transparent, and focused exclusively on recognising outstanding work across independent UK news broadcasting.
Every judge must declare any conflict of interest and step aside from any category where they have one.
All entries are judged against the published criteria, so every entrant is assessed on the same terms.
